Before I was a photographer I was a PSW working in the field for 9 years specializing in Palliative Care and Dementia. I worked privately for families and then became a team leader for Victorian Order of Nurses. I enjoyed taking care of my patients and the field, but it wasn’t my true passion. I truly wanted to work with kids. Once I became a mother of my own, this passion soared. I went back to school at night, during my maternity leave, to complete my Montessori diploma as well as learning photography on the weekends. Both career paths had lead me to where I am today. I’ve met so many wonderful families and their children, gained very close relationships and found my calling by following my heart. It’s been an incredible ride and I’m so happy I took that chance.
Along with my photography business, I also own and operate a private Montessori school for 10 years and In 2018 I became an accredited Newborn Photographer. As you scroll through images of my work, you can see my style is Natural, Organic with Moodie vibes.
